Nomination Guidelines
 
  • Nominees can be any individual involved in the Southern California technology industry and/or field.
  • Nominees must have performed the community service they are being nominated for within the last 18 months.
  • Nominees will be informed of their nomination prior to the conference and they will be considered for the award only with their approval.
  • Nominators must be either an attendee of the conference, a member of one of the conference-related organizations, and/or a conference board member.
  • The nominator of the Inspiration Award winner will be asked to introduce the nominee at the conference.
  • Nomination evaluation criteria include: breadth of impact, depth of impact, self-sacrifice, creative contribution, and inspirational impact.

Nomination Process
 

To nominate a colleague, use the link above.  Nominations will be accepted from June 13, 2009 - October 2, 2009 . 

Once the nomination is received, it will be reviewed by the Award Selection Committee.  If you have additional information -- text, audio or video, web pages -- to support the nomination, please include a link to it in the nomination form, or email it to InspirationAward@SoTecConference.com. In addition, if there are other people who could add information to support the nomination, add their contact information to the nomination form.

The submitted material will be considered in selecting Finalists and the award winner.
